Timing
When it's needed
Repeated main-switch trips under high load, an EV charger or ducted system on the plans, or a dual-occupancy build are the usual drivers. The network's connection approval sets what is technically possible at your street, so the application step belongs early in the project.
Never touch fallen service lines, exposed conductors or damaged network equipment. Keep people clear and report life-threatening electrical hazards to the network operator or emergency services immediately.
